PURPOSE: To ensure the high-quality reproduction of the information by transmitting in time division both the aural signals and the modulated character graphic signals from the information center and then extracts the aural information and the demodulated character pattern information at the terminal side for reproduction through the TV picture receiver.
CONSTITUTION: Information center 1 is called out via telephone 2 to request for the necessary information. In response to this request, the information is transmitted from center 1 via telephone circuit 4. In this case, center 1 transmits both the aural signal and the modulated character graphic signal in the time-division method, and the aural information and the demodulated character graphic information are extracted at the side of terminal 3 for reproduction through TV picture receiver 5. In this way, a high-quality information reproduction is ensured ont only through the vision but also the hearing sense.
