In a suitable telephone LED display system, the light source section is an LED lighting section 2 which can display termination of a call and the telephone is provided with the LED lighting section. The telephone has a function for refracting light from an LED 3 disposed in the LED lighting section through a lens 4 upon termination of a call, and diffusing the light furthermore in order to illuminate the surface panel entirely thus informing termination of a call to a user.
