PURPOSE: To make the service similar to that from a PB line possible through a DP line by devising a telephone system such that a PB signal is switched automatically and transmitted after the line connection with the DP line.

CONSTITUTION: The telephone system is connected to an exchange station or an opposite party telephone set via the exchange station as a DP system through a DP dial signal output circuit 7 and a hook switch 1. Then in the control of a control section 5, a DTMF signal transmission circuit 6 is selected by a connection switch 12 and the PB signal of DTMF being instruction, operation from a 3×4 dial key board 4 is sent through trunk lines L1, L4, then the service such as a pocket bell with message display function is given to a user similarly to the case with a PB line.
