PURPOSE: To select and receive an optional sound out of plural sounds corresponding to an image by selecting an optional cell from plural cells included in a sound signal by a sound cell selecting part and converting the output cell into a sound input signal to be inputted to a TV image receiver.

CONSTITUTION: When an image signal 4 is inputted to the input of a video cell assembling part l, an image cell 6 is outputted. When individual monophonic sound signals 5-1 to 5-3 are respectively inputted to the inputs of sound cell assembling parts 2-1 to 2-3, sound cells 7-1 to 7-3 are outputted. A cell multiplexing part 3 multiplexes these cells and outputs an output 8 to a wide band ISDN. On the other hand, a signal inputted from a TV broadcasting receiving part 12 is distributed into an image cell decomposing part 9 and a sound cell selecting part 10. The decomposing part 9 selects only the image cell, converts the selected cell into a video signal 13 and inputs the signal 13 to the video input part of a TV image receiver to reproduce an image. The selecting part 10 selects one cell out of three cells and a sound cell decomposing part 11 converts an output cell 14 from the selecting part 10 into a sound signal 15 and inputs the signal 15 to a sound input part to reproduce the sound.
