To provide a temperature compensation type oscillation circuit that is configured without the need for a cubic function generating circuit and a varactor diode and integrated into one integrated circuit as a one-chip IC.
Part of the capacitors of a crystal oscillation circuit 10 in this temperature compensation type oscillation circuit is formed with a capacitor circuit 4 whose capacitance is adjustable. The capacitance of the capacitor circuit 4 to correct the equivalent capacitance of a crystal vibrator XT can be adjusted on the basis of information written in a ROM circuit 3 to obtain an optimum value at each temperature. The ROM circuit 3 stores information as to how to select the switch element of the capacitor circuit 4 to optimize the capacitance of the capacitor circuit 4 at each temperature. Thus, a change in the oscillation frequency of the crystal oscillation circuit 10 with respect to temperature changes can be reduced.
