PURPOSE: To prevent a temperature drop of a roll in case of continuous copying, by supplying electric power to only a fixation roll side heater when applying power supply to shorten a warm-up time, and on the other hand, dividing the power into both the fixation roll side heater and a pressure roll side heater to heat the pressure roll side, too.
CONSTITUTION: When an electric power supply is applied, a heater electric power controller 7 is operated by a command from a CPU6, and electric power is supplied to only a fixation roll side heater 1A. A temperature of a fixation roll 2A reaches the upper limit temperature in a short time, to shoten the warm- up time. The CPU6 monitors a temperature of the fixation roll 2A through an A/D converter 5 and temperature detectors 4A, 4B, sends a command to a machine controller 8 immediately when the temperature reaches the upper limit temperature, and allows a copying machine to operate. Also, as for the temperature of the fixation roll 2A and the number of sheets P of transfer paper 3, a prescrbed calculation is executed by the CPU, and the power is divided into both the heaters of fixation roll side 1A and a pressure roll side 1B.
