PURPOSE: To eliminate a supporting device and spring for fixation which are separate parts by a method wherein a temperature-detector to detect a temperature in a refrigerant piping of a heat-exchanger is formed into a semicircular shape so that the temperature-detector can be fitted in the inside of a bent pipe of the refrigerant piping, and a groove is provided on the inside of the bent pipe of the refrigerant piping.
CONSTITUTION: A temperature-detector 3 to detect a temperature in a refrigerant piping 2 of a heat-exchanger 1 is formed into a shape wherein the whole body becomes semicircular, then a semicircular groove is provided with the cross section formed into a shape which meets a bend shape of the bent pipe of the refrigerant piping 2 and the outer shape of the pipe so that the temperature- detector 3 may surely come into contact with the inside of the bent pipe of the refrigerant piping 2. By this method, a supporting device for the temperature-detector 3 or a spring for fixation made of stainless steel becomes unnecessary, and the operatability of an installation of the temperature-detector 3 can be drastically improved. Also, an actual temperature of the refrigerant piping 2 can be detected more accurately.
