Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a device compact and to decrease a cost by arranging a compressing coil spring comprising shape memory alloy and a bias spring around a guide rail, and connecting a temperature display plate to a slide spacer. CONSTITUTION:A slide spacer 2 can be slidden along a rail 1. A compressing coil spring 3 comprising shape memory alloy and a bias spring 4 are arranged in series around the guide rail 1 so as to hold the slide spacer 2 in-between. The spacer 2 and a temperature display plate 5 which is connected to the spacer 2 are moved in correspondence with the expansion and contraction of the spring 3. At the time of lower temperature less than martensite transformation temperature (about 40 deg.C), the spring 3 is weak and contracted. Therefore, the spacer 2 and a colored part 5A of the display plate 5 are moved to the left side. A white color is displayed through a temperature display window 6. When the temperature exceeds about 40 deg.C, the spring 3 overcomes the force of the spring 4 and elongates. Therefore, the spacer 2 and the colored part 5A are moved rightward, and a red color is displayed through the display window 6.
