PURPOSE: To provide a temperature measuring apparatus, for a car, by which a displayed temperature is corrected by the antifreeze concentration of used cooling water so as to be output.

CONSTITUTION: In a temperature measuring apparatus, for a car, the temperature of cooling water for an engine for the car is detected and displayed. In the temperature measuring apparatus, a water thermometer 1, a water- temperature correction device 2 and a water-temperature detection part 5 are connected in series, and a concentration detection part 4 which detects an antifreeze concentration is connected to the water-temperature correction device 2. The water-temperature correction device 2 corrects the detection value of the water-temperature detection part 5 on the basis of the relationship between a preset antifreeze concentration and the boiling point of cooling water so as to be output to the water thermometer.
