Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reliably prevent a temperature detector from coming out and improve safety by inserting the temperature detector into a temperature detector mounting means then putting a heat-shrinkable tubing on from the side surface of the temperature detector mounting means to that of the temperature detector and heating the tubing to shrink. CONSTITUTION:The used cooling water is led from a hose 2 through a mouthpiece 3 into a drainage pipe 1, and a cavity for housing a temperature detector is formed in the mouthpiece 3. A temperature detector mounting means 4 is attached to the periphery of the cavity, and a temperature detector 5 is inserted thereinto. Then, a heat-shrinkable tubing 7 is put on from the side surface of the temperature detector mounting means 4 to that of the part of the temperature detector 5 exposed to the outside and heated to shrink. In this case, cutting a groove 9 in the side surface of the temperature detector mounting means 4 improves the coming out preventing effect. Thereby, a simple constitution can reliably prevent the temperature detector 5 from coming out.
