PURPOSE: To enable accurate measurement of temperature with the identification of a measuring position, by applying a double refraction substance on a reflection surface while a reflection means with an identification code is arranged at several positions for measuring the temperature to measure the quantity of light through an a polarization means scanning a light beam polarized.
CONSTITUTION: Laser light emitted form a laser diode 3 and emitted at light transmitting/receiving section 9 as polarized beam (b) via a collimator lens 4 and a polarizer 5 and scans corner cube (reflection means) 1 arranged at several positions to measure temperature through a rotary mirror 10. An identification code consisting of a black stripe 111('1') and a reflection area 112('0') are formed on the a reflection surface 11 of the corner cube 1 and a double refraction substance 2 is applied on the other surface 12. The light beam (c) reflected by the surfaces 11 and 12 is made incident into a photoelectric conversion element 8 via an analyzer 6 and a mirror 7. The measuring position from the output signal is identified while the temperature is measured at a high accuracy.
