Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable calculated measurement temperature data to be utilized in a temperature transmitter having a thermocouple connected thereto even when a temperature sensor for measuring a reference contact temperature goes to an abnormal state.SOLUTION: Provided is a temperature transmitter equipped with a terminal block for connecting a thermocouple, comprising: a temperature sensor provided near the terminal block; an auxiliary temperature sensor provided separately from the temperature sensor; a temperature sensor state determination unit for determining the state of the temperature sensor on the basis of the sensor signal of the temperature sensor; a reference contact temperature setting unit for setting the temperature indicated by the temperature sensor as a reference contact temperature when it is determined that the temperature sensor is not in an abnormal state, and setting the temperature of the terminal block estimated on the basis of the temperature indicated by the auxiliary temperature sensor as a reference contact temperature when it is determined that the temperature sensor is in an abnormal state; and a temperature computation unit for computing a temperature by contact temperature compensation on the basis of the set reference contact temperature and the sensor signal of the thermocouple.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
