Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide reinforced glass capable of keeping high mechanical strength even if it is heat treated at a high temperature, for example, 500-550°C and excellent in melting property.SOLUTION: The reinforced glass having a compression stress layer, contains SiO50-80%, AlO4-16%, BO0-5%, NaO 0.1-20%, KO 0-15%, and MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO 0.5-13% as a glass composition in mol%, and substantially contains no AsO, SbO, PbO and F, and has a value of 0.05-2 in molar ratio of (MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(LiO+NaO+KO).
