Title:
TEMPLE CONNECTING MECHANISM FOR SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2963646
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temple coupling mechanism for spectacles which can securely couple a temple and an endpiece on a hinge only by engaging them without using any coupling component such as a screw.
SOLUTION: On the bracket endpiece E and temple T, a longitudinal support shaft 1 and an elastic shaft inclusion groove 2 are formed respectively and an opening part 3 is formed in one of the bracket endpiece E and temple T to couple the longitudinal support shaft 1 with the shaft inclusion groove 2 in a hold state on the hinge and generates a state wherein the temple T is restrained by the restriction part 4 of the bracket endpiece E from spreading out, so that the temple T can be folded in and out. Consequently, the number of components can be decreased and the operation efficiency of spectacles assembly is greatly improved. Further, a one-operation coupling mechanism is employed, so the temple can easily be replaced.
