PURPOSE: To provide a temple which is adjustable in length and direction of a bow side end.

CONSTITUTION: The temple 3 is divided to a front side part 6 and a rear side part 7 having the bow side end 5. The front side part 6 is provided with a round shaft part 8. This round shaft part 8 is inserted into an insertion hole 10 formed in the rear side part 7 and is fixed by tightening screws 11. The length of the temple is adjusted by loosening the screws 11, inserting and drawing the round shaft part 8 into and from the insertion hole 10 or cutting the round shaft part 8. The front side part 6 and the rear side part 7 are relatively rotated around the round shaft part 8 to adjust the direction of the bow side end 5.
