Abstract:
To provide a cofferdam construction method and a cofferdam structure of an existing underwater structure applicable to the existing underwater structure for which it is difficult to make a cofferdam by surrounding its periphery and allowing time for making the cofferdam to be shortened and its installation to be easily carried out.SOLUTION: A cofferdam construction method for an existing underwater structure constructing a dry area by making a temporary cofferdam in a part of the existing underwater structure with cofferdam materials and discharging water from its inside comprises: an anchor installation step of installing two lines of anchors in the existing water structure with a specific interval in the vertical direction; a ruler installation step of installing a pair of right and left ruler materials forming a guide slit on two line of the anchors installed in the anchor installation step by joining the ruler materials at an interval of the slit; a rail installation step of installing rail members on an end part in a horizontal direction of the cofferdam member; and a cofferdam material fixing step of connecting and fixing one of the ruler materials to the cofferdam materials after press-fitting the cofferdam materials to a specific depth by sliding the rail members in the slit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
