PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability, by mutually fastening a plurality of frame bases arranged at both sides of a bridge pier and supporting the bridge girder by the frictional force of the generated compression force.
SOLUTION: A lifting device composed of a lifting base 5 and an installation beam 7 of a frame base is suspended from a bridge girder 1 by chain blocks 8, on executing the work, and a frame base 4 is installed on the beam 7. Then, frame elements 4a, 4b of the frame base 4 having arcuate recessed faces or the like in the inner periphery are drawn mutually and hollow pipes are inserted between the frame base 4 and the bridge pier 2 and shrink-compensating mortar is charged. Then, steel wires inserted in advance in the frame base 4 are tensed to firmly fasten the frame base 4 to the bridge pier 2 and thereafter, jacks 10 are set on the frame base 4 to support the girder 1 and exchange the support part 3. Then, after release of the tension of wires, a static crushing agent is filled in the hollow pipes to expand it and break the shrink- compensating mortar and separate the frame elements 4a, 4b from each other and remove the frame base 4 and the lifting device. In this way, the bridge girder can be supported without damage of the bridge pier and the work can be safely and efficiently executed.
