Title:
TEMPORARY STOP DEVICE FOR SHOWER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0551949
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve operationability by providing a shower hook with the engagement detecting means of a shower head and temporarily stopping water at the time of engagement.

CONSTITUTION: Shower hooks 2, 3 are installed to a wall surface W, and a switch 4 such as a microswitch is incorporated to one hook 2 and the latching of a shower head 8 is detected. A solenoid valve 6 is mounted to a shower water supply line 5, and closed on the basis of the latching signal of the switch 14. When water is cut off temporarily during a shampoo, etc., the head 8 must be latched to the hook 2 and water is cut off. When water must be used under the state of water discharge, the head 8 is latched to the hook 3. The hook is brought to a freely movable state such as vertical movement under the state in which the head is latched to the hook, and the movement is detected and water may be cut off or fed temporarily. Accordingly, shower water at a set temperature can be fed and stopped without operating a temperature regulating handle, a stopping handle, etc.
