Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an optimal vibration characteristic and thus a hitting characteristic as best as possible in relation with a minimum deformation in the flat surface of a racket by making a head part relatively rigid and a connection arm flexible regarding a tennis racket. CONSTITUTION: A main section 13 of a head part 2 maintains its height at least nearly constant when seen from the cross-section of a frame 3 and extended from the end parts of connection arms 6 and 6' to the rear side of the range of the maximum width of the head part 2, and an end part section 14 next to the main section of the head part 2 has its width increased toward a free end part 15 when seen from the cross-section of the frame 3. The core material 16 of a grip part 1 specifies mechanical bending rigidity and twisting rigidity, the core material 16 is covered with the coating layer 18 of the grip part and the maximum height and width of the grip part 1 are regulated so as to prevent the mechanical rigidity of the grip part from being greatly affected.
