Title:
TENNIS RACKET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0716315
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a tennis racket in which a sweet spot is at a position close to a remote end of a head of the racket by integrally attaching a handle to a frame which is in the shape of protrusion bow continuously and eliminating a yoke and a shaft. CONSTITUTION: A handle 12 and a head of a tennis racket 10 are molded integrally with a bow-shaped frame 11, and the racket 10 fixes a plurality of strings 14a, 14b stretched in the longitudinal direction and the horizontal direction on the bow-shaped frame 11. A shape of a cross section of the bow-shaped frame 11 is changed depending on section, gives the inclination to a width of the frame 11, and increases its height. Since there is no yoke, its weight can be reduced so that the solidness of the racket 10 on the whole is not reduced due to a cross section of the bow-shaped frame 11 which changes. Furthermore, bending mode or bending moment of the bow-shaped frame 11 occurs naturally during play so that the vibration transmitted to player's hand is reduced when a racket face collides against a tennis ball and a player can experience comfortable touch.
