Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a passenger confinement accident due to malfunction by devising it possible not only to follow secular rope elongation but also to rope contraction due to climatic change or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A lock device 41 to lock sudden drawing of a wire rope 42 is installed on a pit floor 1a, and the wire rope 42 is connected to a tension pulley 7. A rotatable and vertically movable drum with the wire rope wound around it is energized downward by a downward energizing spring and is also energized in the wire winding up direction by a winding-up spring, and winds up or delivers the wire rope 42 by rotation of the drum in the case of normal rope elongation or contraction, moves upward against the downward energizing spring at the time when the tension pulley 7 jumps up and rotation is blocked by locking means 46, 47.
