This tent to be attached to an automobile roof includes a base 20 secured to the roof 11 of an automobile body 10 by removable securing means, a cover 40 hinged to the rear of the base 20 in such a way as to be rotatable for opening and closing, a sun screen 50 integrally secured to the edges of the base 20 and the cover 40 and having a triangular side shape when fully open and having a rectangular front shape, with entrances 51 provided on each side, a deployment means for deploying the cover 40 while connecting the base 20 and the cover to both sides of the inside of the sun screen 50, and cover lock means provided on the front edges of the base 20 and the cover 40 to lock the cover to the base.
