CONSTITUTION: A UNI control section 4 having a UNI as a physical interface in a terminal adaptor 3 connecting a network 1 and a terminal equipment 2 uses a connection-oriented network connection procedure to make connection with the network 1, an SNI control section 5 having an SNI being a physical interface makes connection with the network 1 by using a connection less network connection procedure, data representing the network service type are stored by a data section 6, and a connection control section 7 selects the UNI control section 4 or the SNI control section 5 in response to the network service read from the data section 6 to make connection with any terminal equipment 2 adopting any network service.
