To provide a technique which allows checking of appropriateness of association between articles to be enclosed and envelopes when generating print jobs.
A terminal device 2 for controlling an inserting and sealing system 1 comprises: a database 25 which stores first address information corresponding to each mail; a form application 22 which successively generates form page data 32 for each of one or more mails; an address information detection unit 15 which detects second address information corresponding to each mail from the form page data 32 for the one or more mails; an envelope data generating unit 11 which generates envelope page data 34 including addresses using the first address information; an envelope print job generating unit 13 which associates each set of the form page data 32 with each set of the envelope page data 34 for each mail to successively generate one or more sets of print job data 35 for each mail; and an error assessment unit 16 which obtains and compares the first address information and the second address information and identifies mismatches therebetween as errors.
