PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a connection procedure to a projector.SOLUTION: A terminal device for a computer and the like can output an image signal to a projector, and comprises: a storage part 3 that stores history information including connection information used for causing the projector to display an image, the projector having previously output the image signal; a searching part 21 that searches a connectable projector; a specification part 22 that, when a plurality of connectable projectors are present as a result of a search performed by the searching part 21, extracts, from the plurality of connectable projectors, projectors to which the terminal device has previously been connected, and specifies a projector with high priority from the extracted projectors; and a control part 23 that performs control so as to read out, from the storage part 3, connection information corresponding to the projector specified by the specification part 22, and output the image signal to the projector specified by the specification part 22 by using the read-out connection information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
