Title:
TERMINAL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3649017
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device preventing an electric wire from being disconnected from a mounting member even if a tensile force acts on it.
SOLUTION: A wire insertion hole 24 allowing a wire 37 to be inserted therein is opened in a housing 1, and the wire 37 inserted in the housing 1 is connected to a terminal part 34. A mounting leg 26 for fixing the housing 1 in abutting relation on an apparatus body 5 is projectingly provided on one surface of the housing 1. An angle made by a straight line extending from the intersection of an opening surface of the wire insertion hole 24 with a center axis C of the wire insertion hole 24 to the mounting leg 26 in a plane including one surface of the housing 1 abutting on the apparatus body 5 with an outer portion of the wire insertion hole 24 on the center axis C of the insertion hole 24, is set up to be smaller than 90°. If a tensile force acts on the wire 37, a component force acts in a direction pressing the housing 1 against the apparatus body 5 and the housing 1 is thereby prevented from being disconnected from the apparatus body 5.
