Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the terminal for the electronic component from which a spring terminal can be omitted.

CONSTITUTION: A lead terminal 10 is equipped with an electrode piece part 10a, an external connection part 10b, a projection 10c, and cantilever springs 10d and 10e. The projection 10c is provided at the center part on the reverse surface of the electrode piece part 10a and the cantilever springs 10d and 10e are provided at edge parts on the top surface of the electrode piece part 10a. The projection 10c is pressed against an electric function element incorporated in the electronic component. The cantilever springs 10d and 10e are pressed against the internal wall surface of the housing of the electronic component to generate a proper press-contacting force between the electronic function element and terminal.
