CONSTITUTION: When a lid 22 is opened, an opening/closing detecting axis 27 is pushed up to an upper direction in a figure by the extending force of a spring 28 and a slide axis 26 is made to be slide to the upper direction in the figure by an engaging arm 27a so that a slide switch 25 comes to be in an off-state. Even if a subscriber, etc., illegally changes a terminal circuit for CATV so as to close the cap 22, the slide axis 26 where the engaging state with the engaging arm 27a is released stays at the position so that the slide switch 25 is held in the off-state though the opening/closing detecting axis 27 shifts downward. Since power is not supplied to the station-selection control part of the terminal circuit for CATV even if power comes to be re-supplied, the station-selection control part executes a processing so that only special channel is selected among the channels reception possible.
