Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability, safety and secrecy by storing data in terminal equipment for mobile communication while dividing them into plural groups, and performing control so as to access only the required data.
SOLUTION: Concerning terminal equipment 10 for mobile communication of a global systems for mobile communications (GMS) system or the like, a data storage area 14 is divided into plural user data storage areas 41-4n and made into blocks. A fixed data storage part 16 is grouped into plural fixed data storage areas 61-6m as well. When a portable electronic storage device 20 such as a subscriber identity module (SIM) card is connected to an external storage device interface 12, communication setting information 31 or subscriber registration information 32 is read into a communication control part 11 and the communication with a mobile communication network is enabled. While referring to storage area selection information managing tables 40 and 60 with this information as identification information, any one of user data storage areas 41-4n or fixed data storage areas 61-6m having the coincident identification information can be accessed from an application processing part 15.
