Abstract:
To provide terminal equipment etc. used for a multiplex transmission system which has no redundancy for abnormal display, can reduce the traffic of polling responses, and can recognize terminal equipment and a transmission terminal connected to the equipment as one control unit of the system.
Terminal equipment 2 is provided with plural transmission terminals 3 having different addresses assigned. Each transmission terminal 3 can set a peculiar address (terminals 1-) for terminal equipment assigned to the terminal equipment 2 of the terminal 3 and, when a receiver 1 makes polling to the terminal 3 by designating the address of the terminal 3, it returns a preset peculiar address (terminals 1-4) to the receiver 1.
