Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize simultaneous communication of a picture among multi-points by providing only one picture decoding section which has been needed for a number of terminal equipments for simultaneous communication in a conventional terminal equipment when the picture is communicated simultaneously mutually among the multi-points.
CONSTITUTION: The terminal equipment is a multi-medium terminal equipment by which simultaneous communication is attained with a maximum of N sets of terminal equipments (N is an integer being 2 or over) through plural lines and provided with a picture control section 17, which is made up of plural demultiplexer means each connecting to a line respectively extracting picture data of 1/N reduction pattern coded by using L/N sets of unit areas among L sets (L is an integral number of multiple of N) of unit areas forming one pattern of a specified full size and up of a display position control means revising position designation information of a unit area included in the picture data so as to accommodate a maximum N sets of the 1/N reduction patterns into one pattern of the specified full size.
