PURPOSE: To easily retrieve old data, to eliminate necessity for moving data to another medium when a hard disk is filled up and to eliminate the deletion of the data when the data are destroyed by recording the same data to both the hard disk and floppy disk.
CONSTITUTION: The input data from a keyboard 5 are edited for recording and recorded to both a hard disk 10 and a floppy disk 12. When data are re ceived from a primary station, the data are edited for recording and recorded to both the hard disk 10 and floppy disk 12. The capacity of the disk 10 is made comparatively large and the disk 10 can record considerably old data. Then, the data are displayed on a CRT 7 and can be easily confirmed. When the disk 10 is filled up, the data are successively erased from the oldest data and the new data are recorded. On the other hand, when the disk 12 is filled up, the exchange of the disk is displayed on the CRT 7 and when the exchange is finished, the data are recorded. Even when any one of the both disks breaks down and the data can not be recorded, the data are not erased but managed since the data are recorded to the other disk.
