The method for payment processing has an input stage where request information is inputted to a payment terminal 11, a readout stage where the payment processing terminal 11 specifies claimant information and reads setting information on a prepayment limit day out of the specified claimant information, a calculation stage where the payment processing terminal 11 compares a reception date with the prepayment limit day and a discount amount is computed according to the result of the comparison, and an output stage where the payment processing terminal 11 outputs the discount request amount after the discount amount is subtracted from a bill amount; and the discount request amount is collected from the payer instead of the claimant.
