To provide a terminal structure for a cable provided with a shield layer which can set at low cost the cable provided with the shield layer into a through hole being the target of setting in a short time while securing specified watertight structure and grounding structure.
This terminal structure comprises a tubular metal fitting 104 whose one end is arranged between an insulator 102 and the shield layer 103 of the cable 100 and which has a flange 105 screwed to the target 106 of setting, a metal sleeve 107 which fixes the shield layer 103 to the tubular metal fitting 104 by being fastened to the periphery of the shield layer 103, an O ring 111 which is mounted around the other end of the tubular metal fitting 104 such that it sticks fast to the inwall of the through hole 106a of the target of setting, a thermoshrinking tube 109 which is passed over the tubular metal fitting 140, the shield layer 103 and a cover 101, and an unvulcanized rubber tape wound layer 108 which is interposed without a space by being made to flow by heat at the thermoshrinkage of the tube 109 inside the tube 109.
