Abstract:

To provide a terminal and a wireless communication method capable of flexibly setting DRX (Discontinuous Reception) in an RRC (Radio Resource Control) idle state or an RRC inactive state.SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system, a terminal 10 has: a reception unit 101 that receives first DRX setting for an RRC idle state and second DRX setting for an RRC inactive state; and a control unit 103 that, when predetermined information on an offset value for deciding a paging frame is received as the second DRX setting, monitors a paging opportunity corresponding to the paging frame decided on the basis of the predetermined information in the RRC inactive state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19
