Abstract:
To provide a novel testing method capable of indirectly evaluating insulin resistance.SOLUTION: A testing method for testing possibility of insulin resistance of the present invention includes the steps of: detecting a ratio (A/B) between a transfer amount (A) of insulin receptor A and a transfer amount (B) of insulin receptor B regarding an mRNA of a biological sample, and setting the ratio (A/B) as a splicing pattern of the biological sample; and determining possibility that the biological sample is insulin resistant on the basis of an evaluation standard from the splicing pattern. The evaluation standard is a splicing pattern shown by the previously obtained ratio (A/B) between the transfer amount (A) of the insulin receptor A and the transfer amount (B) of the insulin receptor B of an insulin resistant patient.SELECTED DRAWING: None
