Abstract:

To provide a tetrafluoroethylene(TFE)-perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) (PVE) copolymer excellent in mechanical characteristics and injection moldability, and further to provide a method for producing the copolymer.

This TFE-PVE copolymer contains the polymerization unit of the TFE and the polymerization unit of the PVE in the molar ratio regulated so as to be (98.1/1.9)-(95.0/5.0), and has 35-60 g/10 min melt flow rate and 1-1.7 ratio of the weight average molecular weight to the number average molecular weight.
