To solve a deficiency that suction force required is sometimes different for piecing work and doffing work, it is necessary to control a blower motor by adjusting the suction force to larger one between the piecing work and the doffing work, and thereby power consumption is wasted in a textile machine equipped with a conventional working carriage.

This textile machine is provided with a working carriage C equipped with yarn end sucking and acquiring means 18 and 19, and traveling in the base and performing the work accompanying yarn end sucking and acquiring work such as the piecing work and the doffing work; a blower 31 for generating a suction air current in the working carriage C performing the yarn end sucking and acquiring work; a blower motor 32 for rotating and driving the blower 31; and a calculation part 51 for controlling a rotational frequency of the blower motor 32. A plurality of the working carriages C are provided, and the common blower 31 is provided on the plurality of the working carriages C, and the calculation part 51 controls the rotational frequency of the blower motor 32 based on the number of the plurality of the working carriages C performing the work accompanying the yarn end sucking and acquiring work. Therefore, the rotational frequency of the blower motor can be controlled to be the suitable rotational frequency not only when the piecing work and the doffing work are performed by the same working carriage but also when the piecing work and the doffing work are performed by the plurality of the working carriages. Thus, it is possible to save energy.
