In this textile machine, an automatic winder 1 includes: a piecing device 20 for piecing yarn Y released from a yarn feeding bobbin 5 and wound by a winding-up tube 7; a bobbin yarn guiding device 64 for attracting the bobbin yarn Y2 as the yarn Y on the upstream side from the piecing device 20 to guide the bobbin yarn Y2 to the piecing device 20. Further, the automatic winder 1 is provided with a plurality of winding-up units 2 for winding up the yarn Y around the winding-up tube 7 to form packages 6. Each of the plurality of winding-up units 2 is mounted with a bobbin yarn detection sensor 66 for detecting that the bobbin yarn guiding device 64 attracts the bobbin yarn Y2. For the bobbin yarn guiding device 64 to guide the bobbin yarn Y2 to the piecing device 20, the automatic winder 1 has a bobbin yarn guiding operation control portion 91 for controlling the bobbin yarn guiding device 64 so that the bobbin yarn Y2 is guided to the piecing device 20 when the bobbin yarn detection sensor 66 detects that the bobbin yarn guiding device 64 attracts the bobbin yarn Y2.
