Abstract:

To provide a textile product processing agent capable of easily imparting excellent shape-stability to a textile product.

(a) A vinyl polymer containing a monomer unit having a hydroxyl group in an amount of 20-100 mol% based on the whole monomer units and free from a monomer unit having a carboxylic group. (b) A textile product- processing agent containing 0.01-20 wt.% of a polycarboxylic acid and water at a specific ratio, and having pH of 3.0-7.5 at 20°C.
