Abstract:

PURPOSE: To homogeneously thaw a frozen food in the same container at a suitable temperature without the irregular distribution of temperature by a highly simple method using a microwave oven by loading or charging the frozen food in the container having a projection on the bottom thereof and subsequently thawing the food in a microwave oven.

CONSTITUTION: In a method for thawing a frozen food in a container for the thawing with a microwave oven, the frozen food (preferably a frozen boiled rice) is placed or charged in a container having a projection on the bottom thereof and subsequently thawed. The frozen food-thawing container having the 3-30mm high projection at the center of the bottom thereof is preferable.
