To provide a thermal decomposition treatment system capable of efficiently forming nanocarbon by utilizing benzene obtained by thermally decomposing/liquefying a PET waste material.
The thermal decomposition treatment system has a liquefying system 1 constituted of a kiln 11 for thermally decomposing the PET waste material, a liquefying unit 12 having a catalyst, into which a thermally decomposed gas and other liquefied gases, generated in the kiln 11, are introduced, an oil recovery tank 13 for storing oil recovered by the liquefying unit 12 and a distillation unit 14 for refining oil stored in the oil recovery tank 13, and a nanocarbon forming unit 2. In the thermal decomposition treatment system, benzene obtained in the liquefying system 1 is introduced into the nanocarbon forming unit 2 and the nanocarbon is obtained.
