Abstract:
To reduce carbon dioxide emissions and to supply thermal energy with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A thermal energy supply system 10 comprises: a water electrolysis apparatus 20 for generating hydrogen and oxygen by water electrolysis; a methanation apparatus 30 for generating methane and water using the hydrogen generated by the water electrolysis apparatus 20 and a carbon dioxide; and a combustion apparatus 40 for supplying heat of combustion obtained by burning the methane generated by the methanation apparatus 30 and the oxygen generated by the water electrolysis apparatus 20 to a heat demand unit, and for supplying the carbon dioxide generated by the combustion to the methanation apparatus 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
