Abstract:
PURPOSE: To always keep the temperatures of heating elements within a fixed range by providing a microcomputer for controlling the energy to be applied to the heating elements on the basis of the temperatures detected by a temperature detection circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The value of an electric current is detected by an A/C converter 62 in accordance with a voltage applied to electric current detection resistors 45-1-45-32. On the other hand, an upper limit current value is preset in a setting register 63. A comparator 64 compares the preset current value with an output signal of the A/D converter 62. If the electric current value of heating elements 46-1-46-32 represented by the output signal of the A/D converter 62 is larger than the electric current value in the setting register 63, corresponding ones of strobe signal generators FF 47-1-LIT-32 are reset. In this manner, corresponding ones of AND gates 43-1-43-32 are closed, and an electric current flowing through the heating elements connected thereto is interrupted.
