CONSTITUTION: In a thermal head 1, heat generating resistors 3a-3g are arranged on a base plate 2 inclining from the upper right part of the base plate 2 toward the lower left part. The heat generating resistors 3a-3g are arranged at regular intervals in the direction of line and arranged in a way crossing by a predetermined quantity in the direction of row. To the heat generating resistors 3a-3g, a common line 4 and drive lines 5a-5g are connected, and the common line 4 connected in common is connected to a common terminal 6. The drive lines 5a-5g are connected to drive terminals 7a-7g formed at the lower end of the base plate 2.
