Abstract:
PURPOSE: To drive the printer at a high speed.
CONSTITUTION: In a thermal ink jet printer heating the ink held to a perforated film 1 to allow the same to fly and forming a character or figure on printing paper 12, the Peltier cooler 10 provided in the vicinity of the heating element 7 of a thermal head 8 and a Peltier cooler current supply circuit 11 supplying power to the Peltier cooler 10 are mounted to cool the thermal head by the Peltier cooler.
