Abstract:
To provide a thermal insulating container in a simple, detachable design which has a high thermal insulation property.SOLUTION: A thermal insulating container 100 includes: a cup-like inner container 102; and an exterior body 103 that is attached to the periphery of the inner container in a detachable manner. The exterior body is formed into an approximately truncated shape and includes: a first opening end that corresponds to the bottom face of the approximately truncated shape; a second opening end that corresponds to the truncated face of the approximately truncated shape, is in an approximately similar shape to the first opening shape and has a smaller similarity ratio than the first opening end; and a side peripheral part that shrinks in a shape from the first opening end toward the second opening end. The inner container includes an exterior body supporting part 125 provided on the cup-like bottom part 122 that opens upward and a side wall part that extends from the bottom part upward. With the exterior body attached to the inner container, the second opening end is supported by the exterior body support part, and the outer container is attached to the inner container so that the side peripheral part and the side wall part have a clearance therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
