To provide a thermal insulation material for a vehicle, which prevents reduction in thermal insulation performance and generation of noise by the deterioration due to its friction and impact even when interfering with the other part by vibration of the vehicle or the like.
A vacuum thermal insulation material 1 is formed by sealing its inside by reducing pressure by wrapping a core material with a gas-barrier casing material. The thermal insulation material for the vehicle in the present invention has: a hard sheet 2 arranged on at least one surface of the vacuum thermal insulation material 1; and a soft sheet 3 arranged on a surface on the opposite side of a surface contacting with the vacuum thermal insulation material 1 of the hard sheet 2 and composed of a material softer than the hard sheet 2.
