Abstract:

PURPOSE: To contrive formation of high picture quality which is free from omission of transfer even in the case where recording is performed to rough paper having low smoothness such as bond paper, by a method wherein transfer is performed to recording paper by kinematic energy or both adhesion and the kinematic energy by giving the kinematic energy to soften or molten ink of an ink sheet.

CONSTITUTION: An ink sheet 5 and recording paper 2 are piled upon each other so that they contact each other, these are placed between a platen 1 and thermal recording device 6a and information is recorded on the recording paper 2. Then an oscillation device 23 oscillates at least either one out of the thermal recording device 6a and platen 1 and pressurizing device 8a increases pressing force between the thermal recording device 6a and platen 1. Consequently, high picture quality which is free from omission of transfer can be formed even in the case where recording is performed to rough paper having low smoothness such as bond paper.
