Abstract:

To provide a thermal sensitive inkjet recording material that includes an uppermost surface layer for thermal sensitive recording to solve existing problems, improves an image density as a thermal sensitive recording material, ink bleed, ink fixation performance as an inkjet recording material and the like, and also is excellent in resistance to the abrasion of an inkjet recording image, in a recording material having a thermal sensitive recording layer and an inkjet absorbing layer on the identical surface.

The thermal sensitive recording material includes the thermal sensitive recording layer containing at least a leuco dye and a developer as chief components on one surface of a support. In the thermal sensitive recording material, the uppermost surface layer on the side where the thermal sensitive recording layer is provided, contains at least one or more kinds of aliphatic hydroxy acids selected from a lactic acid, a malic acid, a tartaric acid and a glycolic acid, and a pH adjuster or at least one or more kinds of buffer solutions of the aliphatic hydroxy acid.
